The main symptoms of the disease is the presense of dark spots in the retina.It can affect a single person in 4000 peoples in the united states.
A new development to convert skin cells into retinal cells is the induced pluripotent stem cell technology.Late this can be deployed as a patient model for disease study and preclinical resting.
