LABLES MAY LEADS TO LEAVE SMOKING
Warning signs on cigarettes packets may influence the urge smokers to leave smoking said by scientists.
Warning lables may vary from country to country but the emotional and psychological feelings are same to make smokers to quit it said by study lead author, Hua-Hie young, PhD.
For the people who have attention towards the lables, by seeing it they can came to know the risks in smoking and they were least attracted towards the ciggarates.
But the persons dont have any attraction with lables they will say that those risks were exaggreted they will also mention that they enjoy smoking.
By a telephone survey carried out by the researches in United states,Australia Canada and United Kingdom,it is around 5000 peoples were taken equally as 43% from each country.
The study is based on the awarness of warning lables, whether they had a thought to quit it or not, how many ciggarates will they smoke in a day, whether they avoided warnings or not and some demogrphic informations about them.
For this the international tobacco control survey four-country survey, who make the study over assessing the impact of tobacco control policies over the world.
In that survey it was said that the smokers will smoke 17 ciggaretes for a day and about 37% peoples reported that they had a thought to leave smoking at least once in a one year of study.
Noticing is the first step to quit smoking.It is also suggested to the policy makers that,thy should make the warning lables large, graphic and animatic on ciggaretes.
Mass media campaigns should be made for smoking like other health warnings
